Copilot (AI Assistant)
Every server has a built-in AI operator under the Copilot tab. Ask it anything about your server in plain language — it reads your actual console logs, live memory/CPU, and player activity before answering, so it diagnoses from real data instead of guessing.
What it can do
- Diagnose problems — "Why is my server lagging?", "Why did it crash last night?", "Why can't my friend join?" Copilot checks the console and stats, then explains the cause and the fix in plain English.
- Answer questions about activity — "How many players joined this week?", "When was the server last online?"
- Suggest and apply fixes — when a fix is a settings change (view distance, difficulty, MOTD, player slots…) or a restart, Copilot proposes it as a card. Nothing happens until you click Apply.
How actions work
Copilot never changes anything on its own. Fixes appear as action cards with Apply and Dismiss buttons:
- Copilot proposes, with a one-line reason.
- You click Apply (or Dismiss).
- The change is applied exactly as if you'd used the settings page yourself, and logged in your server's activity history.
Only a safe set of changes can even be proposed: restarting the server and everyday settings like view distance, difficulty, MOTD, and slots. Copilot cannot touch billing, delete anything, or change your account.
Good to know
- World settings (view distance, difficulty, …) apply on the next restart — Copilot will tell you and can propose the restart too.
- A hibernating server showing as stopped is normal — it wakes automatically when a player joins.
- Copilot can misread things. Treat surprising advice like advice from a smart friend: double-check before applying.
- There's an hourly message limit per server to keep things fair.
